Mercy Airlift is the non-profit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization which provides air transportation, emergency aid, medical services, recovery assistance, and sustainable human development programs to disaster victims and impoverished populations worldwide. We also provide logistical and transportation services to other organizations, assisting them in their efforts to provide emergency assistance to those in need.

Whether it’s a natural disaster in the United States such as hurricane Katrina or hurricane Rita, or famine and drought in parts of Africa or the Middle East, or medical air transportation needs in Central and South America, Mercy Airlift stands ready to assist those in need with a full staff of volunteers ready to be dispatched for short or long term missions throughout the world.

With our ability to provide the air and ground transportation of emergency relief supplies on a short notice basis, we are able to dispatch loaded aircraft to the disaster site, as soon as the disaster is surveyed and the supplies and commodities required are established. Since our beginning in 1968, we have delivered millions of pounds of food, supplies, medicine and medical equipment to disaster sites, worldwide. We transport materials such as wheat, rice, water, water purification equipment, sanitary supplies, vaccines, clothing, blankets, tents, temporary housing materials as well as heavy equipment and machinery. Literally millions of lives from around the world have been touched by the courageous efforts of the volunteers of Mercy Airlift.

Information On COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

COVID-19 is a type of coronavirus, which is a small germ (too small to see without a microscope) that can spread and cause illness in people. COVID-19 causes flu-like symptoms such as a dry cough, shortness of breath, fever, and body aches. COVID-19 mostly affects the respiratory system. While most infections are not dangerous, it can cause pneumonia (a serious infection of the lungs) and can be deadly in severe cases.
